13 Remarkable Things that Make BWI the Best Ageplay Site

Birchwood Isle is, without question, the best ageplay site on the internet. If you're looking for an exceptional role playing group to meet your inner kid's needs with high-quality writing, monthly events, a caring staff, and a strong sense of community, then you've just found it. For those who have yet to be convinced, keep reading for more information about what makes us not only different, but the best ageplay site on the internet. If I don't manage to convince you here, check out our forum, our wonderful members, and our excellent stories and I'm sure you'll agree with me: There's nothing that compares to Birchwood Isle!

• We're active - Although we do have occasional lapses in activity, Birchwood Isle generally does anywhere from 20-100 posts a day. Lapses are always temporary and members who desire to be active have plenty of opportunities to roleplay.
• We're safe - Almost every ageplay site claims to be "safe" but we actively pursue safety by having our staff read through all the threads and communicate with the members to make sure that boundaries aren't being crossed. You set your own limits!
• We're writing-intensive - Have you ever been in a role playing group where everybody posts one line and calls it done? We're not like that. We require every post to be at least 100 words long and that posts invite interaction with other members.
• We're laid-back - We accept almost everybody and while our list of rules may be long, the rules are simple and most of them give you more opportunities rather than fewer. Our staff tries hard to resolve issues before removing members from the site.
• We pay attention to inner kids - Most sites allow you to bring an inner kid, put them in a foster home, and then you wait. And wait, and wait until somebody comes along to adopt that inner kid. Social workers, counselors, and guardians are active characters on Birchwood Isle!
• We host monthly events - The events are designed to give members opportunities to interact within the community. They are fun and entertaining and provide ample opportunities to interact with characters you might otherwise not meet!
• We give awesome spankings - No, really. If spanking is your "thing," both of our head administrators are awesome literary spankers. Feedback suggests that we're some of the best in the business, and if you're into that, you might enjoy reading or participating!
• We're uplifting - Our admins make an effort to keep things uplifting on Birchwood Isle. We want our members to feel positive about the site, themselves, and one another, and so we strive to keep negativity out of the chat. Plus, weekly encouragements!
• We love inner kids - Whatever the age, we think inner kids are awesome! We're more geared toward teenagers, but we've discovered (recently, at that) how great kids of all ages are, and we're excited to get to know your inner kid as well!
• We have the only setting as real as your inners - It sounds weird; I know. But our setting is as real as your inner kid is. It's a living, breathing place that exists as solidly in the minds of our members as our own inner kids do, and that makes it incredible.
• We allow certain non-human species - Wait, what? Yes, you read that right. We have witches, shapeshifter and faerie species on Birchwood Isle. And that's it, so please don't ask if you can play a vampire, demon, or mutant. The answer (right now at least) is no.
• We have pre-made families or foster care - Whether you want the experience of playing a foster kid or want to go into a pre-made family, we have what you need. Pre-made families are written up with descriptions of each character, or bring your inner kid to the foster homes to get adopted!
• We have the best adoption process in ageplay - We've all been adopted and abandoned, some of us so many times that we can't count them. Our adoption policy slows down the process and ensures that anyone who is interested in adopting has thought it through beforehand!

Our monthly events are now open to public viewing by guests and new registrants, so you can view those sections if you like. In order to see the rest of the board, you'll need to be approved by the staff in order to proceed.
